Collecting the book "Ender's Game",
by Orson Scott Card

I'm afraid this page is very much "under construction".

A collector of "Ender's Game" would, of course, want copies of...

Analog Sept1977 cover Cover of the novel, Ender's Game

(On the left: 1977 Analog, on the right, the cover of the 1985 hardback. (My thanks to whomever made the latter available at Wikipedia)

All were first published in the US. There were UK editions of the two variants of the novel.

Special "presentation" bindings of the original two sequels to Ender's Game (Speaker for the Dead, and Xenocide) were produced in a black imitation leather, with slipcases. Regrettably, as far as I am aware, Ender's Game was never released in that form, so it is impossible to have a set. Pity.

Copies of the book signed or signed and inscribed by the author are not scarce... but copies with dated signatures, from near the time of publication, are not common.

And forgive me for shamelessly incorporating a request on my own behalf here?.... if anyone knows the current whereabouts of the copy of Seventh Son Card inscribed for a special early supporter... EP, aka BP... I would love to know where it is, in hopes of making an "if you ever consider parting with that..." offer! (I'd like to re-unite it with the copies of Red Prophet and Prentice Alvin given to that supporter. Why DO people break up "sets". Sigh!)
