Overview- Milne/ Shepard/ Winnie-The-Pooh collecting

Recommendations for reading copies... and CDs... of the Winnie-The-Pooh books...

Let's start gently...

(If you haven't seen the introductory material at the "parent" page of this page, please read it at some point.)

So... you decide to collect the Winnie-The-Pooh books. Be careful what you wish for!

The obvious starting point would be a nice modern set, as a reading copy. I like the box set of paperbacks, put out by Egmont, and available from Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk... if you look hard enough. (Search "books" on the 10 digit ISBN if you want a short-cut!) I saw it in a bookstore. "Slept on it"... and when I came back, it was gone. They promised to re-stock, but never did. Each time I've gone online to look at it, I've have trouble finding it again, so today, finally, I ordered a copy! Thank you for "inspiring" me! The illustrations are Shepard's, colored.

Paperback: 576 pages. (Four volumes, in a nice box)
Publisher: Egmont Books Ltd; New edition (6 May 2004)
ISBN-10: 1405211202
ISBN-13: 978-1405211208

There are also several audio CDs, one with Stephen Fry, Judi Dench and Michael Williams, which is also available in Kindle format.

But those are reading copies... what about collector's copies?

Hold on to your hat....

...and return to the page with an overview of collecting the Winnie-The-Pooh books from AA Milne and EH Shepard... or, if you came here from there, just close the tab or window this is in, and you should find the overview page underneath it.
